    The General Manager will be responsible for overall direction, control and management of all activities within the company. He will manage the store managers nationwide; he will deputise and assist the CEO in his duties.
    He/she is to report to the CEO.
    The position is based in Lagos, Nigeria

Responsibilities

The responsibilities for this office shall include but not limited to the following:


  1.     Ensure effective deployment of resources to achieve defined goals and objectives
  2.     Oversee and manage all aspects of the day to day operations of the company
  3.     Design, develop and implement systems and templates that can be used to replicate and drive the growth of the company’s business
  4.     Develop, administer and constantly review operational and administrative policies
  5.     Ensure compliance with Government Regulatory agencies
  6.     Develop, build and manage relationship with both internal and external
  7.     Interface cross-functionally at all levels with the divisions of the company, including communication with external resources and concerns, such as third party providers and government agencies
  8.     Organize to service each business units while maintaining and improving overall operational and departmental efficiencies
  9.     Analyze sales reports to identify & actualize cost savings and opportunities for the business
  10.     Coordinate general feedback to customers and sales team on the status of the business
  11.     Responsible for enhancing the reputation and relationship of the company with key customers and accounts

Qualifications and experience
  •     Must have 5-8 years experience, a minimum of 2 years in FMCG
  •     Must have proven excellent logistics and project management skills.
  •     Excellent financial, budget and sales management skills
  •     Must have excellent leadership and people management skills.
  •     Must be able to design competitive and cost effective logistics and distribution strategies to achieve desired results.
  •     Must have good critical analysis and problem solving skills.
  •     Must be adaptable to establish themselves within a new and challenging environment
  •     Strong communication, creative and innovative skills.
  •     Should have good negotiation skills and able to deal with customers’ issues and complaints in an appropriate and timely manner
  •     An MBA or equivalent qualification is an added advantage
